On an open-drive compressor, the shaft seal is the only barrier between the refrigerant circuit and the atmosphere – and the number-one wear item in the drive train. The 80023 is the spring-loaded mechanical shaft seal for the BOCK FK40/FK50 family (FKX40/FKX50), the seal that shows up as an oil weep or a full refrigerant loss when it finally fails.
We supply the 80023 as a complete seal kit: carbon/graphite ring, metal mating ring, spring assembly and O-ring retainer (37.7 x 3.53 mm) plus the fixing screw (8 x 25 mm). Everything needed for one clean seal replacement.
