1. Why a 4.99 m Roof Platform
At 13.0–14.0 m vehicle length — the largest single-deck coaches — the roof AC must carry more coil surface and more airflow than any shorter platform can hold. The WL42LY's 4,990 × 1,840 × 190 mm roof profile mounts 8 evaporator blowers and 6 condenser fans while staying at 236 kg class weight for roof-load safety.

3. The Drive Train
The 4GFCY compressor (750 cc) — a Bitzer-family open-type unit — is matched with a 2B/2A clutch, SPB belt and 150 A / 28 V alternator. Two TGEN10T Danfoss expansion valves split the refrigerant feed across the large coil banks, and a Danfoss SGN16S sight glass monitors charge condition at a glance.
