High-capacity low-noise fans optimize the air quality in passenger carriages.

For long-distance intercity buses, the air circulation within the vehicle and the introduction of fresh air are the key factors determining the comfort of passengers during their journey. Traditional single fans are unable to balance high air volume and low noise. We provided a customized 11-inch brushless DC fan (model LNF 253 24V) to a bus air conditioning system integrator for their new air handling unit, achieving efficient mixing and delivery of internal circulation air and fresh air.

This fan is powerful, weighing 3.6 kg and with a stable structure. Inside the air conditioning box, it is responsible for simultaneously driving two air ducts: one sucks in air from the top return air inlet (internal circulation), and the other sucks in fresh external air from the new air inlet. The two streams of air pass through the mixing zone, undergo filtration and temperature control treatment, and then are uniformly pressurized by the fan and evenly sent to various outlets through the air ducts.

According to the performance curve under the 27V test voltage, this fan can still provide a mixed air volume of nearly 2000 cubic meters per hour at a static pressure of 200mmH2O, which is sufficient to meet the ventilation needs of the entire large bus. Despite its powerful performance, its operating noise is controlled at 76db. Combined with the sound insulation design of the cabin, it ensures a quiet environment in the passenger area.

By adopting our high-capacity fans, this air conditioning system achieves continuous adjustment of the fresh air ratio, ensuring that the air inside the carriage remains fresh at all times. At the same time, it reduces the "uneven temperature" phenomenon caused by insufficient air volume. The system integrator stated that our fan performance parameters are stable and the batch consistency is good, providing a reliable guarantee for its large-scale production.
